Tips from Firefly Mental Health: FireFly Mental Health offers appointments through telehealth services and in person (by appointment). We have automated check-in, which includes confirming appointments, paying outstanding balances or copays, taking assessments, and signing paperwork. Please do this at least a day before the appointment. Basically, it’s just like coming to see the doctor, but from the comfort of your own space and a day early.

-I’m Experiencing An Emergency Psychiatric Situation, Now what?

FireFly Mental Health is not outfitted to help during emergency situations. Your provider will see you when they have time, but sometimes that means you’ll need to seek services from another provider or at the emergency room. We do not have immediate care for individuals experiencing crisis. If you or a loved one are experiencing a Mental Health Crisis call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room.

-Do I have to call for a monthly medication refill?

For a refill check with your pharmacy if there are refills available. If not call our office

-Will I get an early refill on medications?

No early refills will be given on medications. Talk with your provider if you have any questions.

-Can I come back if I have been terminated from care?

No, if you are terminated for any reason, you will not be able to come back for services in the future.

-My Mediation was lost or stolen. Now what?

1. File a police report if they were stolen.

2. Controlled meds cannot be refilled early, but the provider may write a prescription for a non-controlled medication if that’s helpful.

-Is my provider available by phone or will my provider call me back?

No. Our providers schedules are full with back-to-back appointments all day. When they have a break, they are answering emails, voicemails and other needs of the office. The best way to communicate with our providers is by calling the clinic, or on your patient portal.

-What is the clinics cancellation policy?

Patients are expected to be at their appointment, if a patient cancel less than 24 hours before appt time the patient will be charged a no-show fee of $125. No show= Patient did not show for appointment, Patient canceled less than 24 hours before appointment we understand things come up please discuss with your provider if you have any questions

-How does Telehealth work?

Once your appointment has been confirmed 24 hours prior to the appointment you will be sent a link via email or text with a link for the Telehealth appointment along with an invitation code, use this to long into your Telehealth appointment. Every Telehealth appointment you have will have a different link and code. Please call the office with any questions concerning your Telehealth appointment.
